School Philosophy: The philosophy of Berean Junior Academy is Christ-centered. It is based upon the Bible and the inspired writings of Ellen G. White. Seventh-day Adventist believe in Christian education and that God is loving, omnipotent, and omnipresent. BJA seeks to restore our students to the image of their Maker in their thoughts, actions, deeds and words.
Mission Statement: To provide an Adventist Christian-based education to all students using STEM, Problem-Based Learning and Critical Thinking Skills in preparing our students to become socially active and productive global citizens. This is accomplished by embracing biblical teachings and the teachings of the Spirit of Prophecy while seeking academic excellence. We recognize the importance of home and its influence on our students; BJA seeks to encourage our parents to become partners in their child’s education by supporting the educational plan as designed by the South Atlantic and the Union.
